Meet Mark Elliott Miller
Mark Elliott Miller was born in Houston, Texas on August 10, 1960 to attorney, Hugh Miller and social worker/paralegal Louise Miller. After a successful 23-year career as a health care administrator and marketer, Mark decided to enter the world of higher education as an adjunct faculty member first at Hallmark College, then concurrently at the University of Phoenix, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Mark attended the University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in professional writing in 1988, and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he earned a Master of Public Health degree (MPH). He is the author of many articles and four books.
Mark and his wife, Maria, live with her two daughters in San Antonio, Texas. He is the father, stepfather and grandfather of nine children.
Mark is available to speak to community groups on a variety of topics.
